DAY 1: DENPASAR / BALI - BANYUWANGI / EAST JAVA
Morning departure from your hotel in Bali. Drive along the island's scenic west coast, a slice of real Bali few tourist see. Stop for photos of some terraced rice fields, rustic villages, surging surf beaches during the two and half hour drive to Gilimanuk. Short ferry crossing over the strait to Java. Proceed to a city tour in the small town of Banyuwangi with Bechak (Pedi-cab) ride visiting the kampongs in the city, traditional market and Chinese temple. End of the afternoon drive to Ijen Resort & Villas, your luxurious accommodation perched at the edge of the rainforest in the foothills of the volcanoes. Overnight in mountain tranquility.

DAY 2: IJEN CRATER
Ijen Sulfur HillsEarly wake-up call. After breakfast at the hotel drive to the village of Licin and then in four wheels drive vehicle to the slope of Mount Ijen, passing through plantations and rainforest. This is one of the few left in the island of Java with giant ferns and big trees. Pause at the Park Rangers post before hiking further up to the slope of the crater. About one hour and a half to two hours is needed to ascend the rim of the crater along a shady track with amazing views. Take a rest on the edge of the crater at 2883 meter altitude. The sulfuric lake reflects eerie color over the surrounding walls to give an apocalypse like impression.Sulfur Miner Men seeking sulfur descend into the crater and climb back up along the dangerous rim with loads of up to 80 kilos on their shoulder. The crater servation will take at leisure. Afterwards drive back to the hotel for lunch and in the afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Ijen Resort and Villas.

DAY 3: IJEN RESORT - SUKAMADE TURTLES BEACH
Sukamade BeachDepart early in the morning to Muncar, the most crowded and animated traditional fishing port in Java Island. And then continue driving to Djadjag for Lunch, and then onward to Sukamade through Meru Betiri National Park. Beautiful beaches and bays spread over the coastal part of the road. Arrival at Sukamade Plantation Guest House by end afternoon. After dinner, night excursion takes you to the beach of Sukamade where , at certain periods of the year, giant sea turtles come on shore from the ocean to lay eggs. The excursion finished by midnight. Drive back to the Guest House, Wisma Sukamade for overnight.

DAY 4: SUKAMADE - PEMUTERAN/BALI
Ketapang harbor Departure in the morning for Banyuwangi, then stop at Gintangan Village to see the traditional bamboo handy craft.Lunch in a restaurant in the city. Afterwards going on to Ketapang harbour and cross the straight to the island of Bali. Drive to Pemuteran and check in a Hotel y the beach. The rest of the afternoon at leisure.

DAY 5: PEMUTERAN - DENPASAR
Pemuteran Beach Part of the morning at leisure, and then departure for Denpasar by the north coast and cross over the mountain to arrive in Denpasar by mid afternoon. Lunch enroute. End of the programme.
